Things to Do in the Summer
There are many events and activities to do in Kootenay Rockies, BC. Panorama Mountain Village Resort offers 4,000 vertical feet and 2,000 acres of skiing as well as BC #1 rated Championship Greywolf Golf Course. Shopping is available for clothing, sporting goods and gifts. A general store providing groceries, liquor, along with a post office is here for your convenience.
Invermere, BC is only 18 km away and has plenty of shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, boating and art shops. Natural Hot Spring pools are just a short drive away to Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont Hot Springs.

Golf – BC’s #1 rated Championship Greywolf Golf course is available mid-May to mid-October with a number of other courses to pick from – Eagle Ranch Golf Course, Copper Point Golf Course, The Springs Course at Radium Resort, and Fairmont’s Riverside and Mountainside.
Mountain Biking – Single track trails with natural features for all abilities, Panorama’s Bike Park also offers wide cruisers and expert terrain with man-made stunts. Panorama’s Kona Groove Approved Bike Park has a number of trails to challenge riders of all levels.
ATV Tours – These ATV tours have access to hundreds of kilometers of trails and cater to beginners through experienced riders. Visit the remnants of an early 1900’s silver mine, see wildlife, wildflowers, pristine waterfalls, and draw-dropping views.
River Rafting – Ride the glacier-fed waters of Toby Creek at the foot of Panorama Mountain Village during a two hour trip, all day on the Kicking Horse River, or a day trip to the Kootenay River!
Lift-accessed Alpine Hiking – Ride the Mile 1 Quad chairlift from the village to 5800 feet to access several hiking trails.
Trout Fishing – Whether you take a full or half-day tour, your fishing guides will take you on a fly-fishing trip to remember.
